The critical need for recognition of interdependency at a global level has however become dangerously compromised by political leaders whose self/national-interest takes precedence over a rules based world order. The first of this month’s quotes emphasises the importance of relationships, and the second, while not directly related to interdependence, highlights an invaluable approach to deal with non-authentic communication at every level:
